Lately, I’ve become more aware of puffiness around my eyes in the morning. Where I didn’t notice it before, now while cleansing my face or applying makeup I find myself gently pressing my day cream in to reduce the swelling around my eye area. Then I realised, perhaps I should be including an eye cream into my routine.
As there’s so much choice out there, I looked to La Prairie first and have been enjoying the cooling sensation of La Prairie Cellular Revitalizing Eye Gel for the past two weeks. This beautiful, lightweight, non-oily blue gel absorbs immediately and provides an excellent makeup base, making it ideal for my super-quick morning routine. In addition to the cooling sensation, I experienced a very subtle tingling after application, which meant the combination of advanced peptide technology, cucumber extract and caffeine were hard at work soothing and smoothing away the puffiness.
Plus, if you’re plagued by dark circles, the anti-darkness complex reduces the appearance of discolouration around the eyes (great for those mornings when you’ve had little-to-no sleep).
Priced at R1 500 for 15ml (which will last you at least two months as a little goes a long way), La Prairie Cellular Revitalizing Eye Gel is available at La Prairie counters nationwide at selected Edgars, Stuttafords and Woolworths stores.
