Powdered Almond: Lavera Faces Wild Rose Eye Gel

Okay, now this is something really special. Luxurious, oh so gentle and rose-scented, I can't imagine anyone not liking this eye gel.

I have tried quite a few eye creams in my time - some that reduce puffiness, erase wrinkles, SPF ones, allsorts - from Clinique, Dermologica and No 7's Protect and Perfect to name a few. I never really had any complaints with any of these eye creams but I kept forgetting to use them and never really fell in love with any of them like I have with this.

The gel (which looks like a white cream) applies like liquid on the eye, I have never felt another product glide on so smoothly and melt into the skin so easily - none of this patting the product into the skin here.

The gel contains comfrey and green tea to firm up the eye area and reduce puffiness, and after application the skin feels slightly but noticeably firmer.

The gel also contains evening primrose oil and jojoba seed oil for moisturising - and it is incredibly moisturising. The organic wild rose, gingko and orange blossom contribute to it's soft feminine scent and it also claims to protect against free radical damage.

The Wild Rose range of Lavera skincare is formulated for Dry and Demanding skin, so I might not use that range on the rest of my face. But as the skin around our eyes is so thin and sensitive, I would class it as pretty demanding!

All Lavera products are cruelty-free, made with natural ingredients such as pure organic plant oils, and free from parabens, synthetic preservatives, fragrances and petroleum based ingredients.

To boot, this eye gel is suitable for vegans, and at £11.60 per 15ml from naturisimo it is damn good value for money, as I only use a tiny 2mm ball per eye.

Seriously. It's perfect. I defy you not to like it.
